Results of our SIZA Ethical Audit: ZERO % non-compliance!
During October Mooigezicht Estates completed the SIZA (Sustainability Initiative South Africa) Ethical Audit. (SIZA is the universal, globally accepted South African Ethical Auditing Standard and oversees the fruit industry’s ethical trade programme.)
In the process of this very thorough audit the auditors questioned over 100 of our staff anonymously and we were very pleased to receive the independent feedback that they had received only positive feedback.
When we received the results of the audit we were very pleased to learn that we have achieved a Zero percent non compliance score! This also means that our next audit is only required in five years time.
