Bonne Esperance Farm is a 30,43ha farm north of De Doorns and is located very close to our head office and to our other production units.
This farm was the original Rossouw family farm in the Hex River Valley, purchased by Fanie Rossouw (Father of Mooigezicht Chairman Stephanus Rossouw) in 1928.
The acquisition of this excellent farm has increased our number of production units and packhouses to 11.
Bonne Esperance means “Good Hope” in French and we have good hopes that this farm will help to boost our productions to around 1.6 million cartons over the next few years. This year we are already hard at work replanting approximately a third of the vineyards.
