As part of the Western Cape government’s Covid-19 response, on 6 May we received a visit from the Western Cape Minister of Health, Dr Nomafrench Mbombo. During her visit to the Hex River Valley, she visited Mooigezicht Estates and several sites in the Valley, including the government clinic in our local town De Doorns.
During her visit to Mooigezicht Estates, she addressed 40 of our health and safety personnel. We were able to show her how the
Estate is implementing the necessary sanitation protocols and she was impressed and encouraged by our comprehensive sanitation implementations.
It was an honour for us to receive a visit from the Minister of Health. Her address to our staff was extremely well received and served as a motivation for our staff to continue to adhere to the necessary sanitation protocols.
